We feel that we have a huge responsibility to be as involved as we possibly can to help clean up the earth for our future generation’s sake. We are a small family run business, we work side by side as husband and wife and for us personally, we are doing this for our children, Hope & Felix.
THE BIG CLEAN UP
We want to help clean up the past mistakes by leaving the world a better place than we found it, to plant seeds in the hope of a greener and brighter Earth for our children, our children’s children and the generations to come. It’s our responsibility to start this change now. So, we have partnered up with Tree-Nation to join them on their mission to reforest our planet. They are a non-profit organisation that allows citizens and companies to plant trees all around the world and offset their CO2 emissions.
WHY TREES?
Because deforestation increases climate change by releasing CO2. Roughly 18% of global emissions comes from deforestation alone (5-10 GtCO2e) which is more than the world’s entire transport sector.
Planting trees has been proven to be one of the most efficient solutions in fighting Climate Change. Forests capture CO2, acting as carbon sinks. Did you know that every year, forests and trees absorb the equivalent of 2 billion tonnes of CO2, roughly 1/3 of all CO2 released from the burning of fossil fuels?

Trees are so important for both humans and the environment. They play a huge role in cooling our climate and improving our soil. They also benefit us in other ways such as purifying the water and air, they create better social conditions as well as benefitting the environment by providing homes for various forms of life.

Every time you pop in for a fringe trim we will ask for a small, voluntary donation. 100% of your fringe trim donation will go towards planting trees. We will also plant one tree every time you have a hair treatment in the salon. So, every time you give your hair a little bit of love we will give that love back to the planet.
Our ultimate goal is to be totally carbon neutral and maybe even one day, carbon negative. So for now we are starting off by planting two trees a month per staff member to help offset the CO2 emissions they produce just to do your hair. Which we would say is a good start!
