THE FIGOLI FAMILY

Rob is the salon owner and Style Consultant. He has been part of the hairdressing world all his life with his family owning several successful salons throughout Berkshire. Rob himself has been cutting hair since 1995 and has been a salon owner since 2009. He is also an experienced educator, and has trained many excellent and successful hairdressers who are still in the industry today. Previously owning a large, busy and well known salon on Windsor high street, he wanted to do something a little different and so decided with his wife, Lucy, to open a much smaller and more relaxing, hygge inspired boutique salon in the village of Sunninghill, Ascot.

Over the years Rob has built an exceptionally large clientele base; both male and female. His clients come from all over the world as well as the UK from which he has built many lasting friendships. Rob specialises in curly hair, short hair and mens haircuts. His strengths lie in precision hair cuts and loves nothing more than a challenge!

Lucy is front of house and owns and runs the salon alongside Rob. She is usually your first port of call at Figoli, managing all bookings and in-house operations. As well as looking after the business from behind the scenes she is a busy mum to two young children. Lucy has a passion for beauty and was previously trained in makeup by Bare Minerals. This grew her interest in natural and ethical beauty products which led her and Rob to choose to work with like minded product ranges such as Davines.

Lucy's eye for detail and style has come together to create the exceptional and unique style of the Figoli brand; put together with Rob's exceptional hair styling talents and years of experience they have created this unique family business together.

Heidi is our wonderful Assistant Manager and one of our Technical Stylists. Starting her hairdressing journey in London in 2013, she enjoys both cutting and colouring ladies hair. She is Figoli's hair extensions specialist as well as being exceptionally talented at occasion hair and takes real pride in hair ups that she creates, whether for a party, prom, wedding or Royal Ascot. Over the last few years of hairdressing she has built up a large clientele base. Her clients love her bubbly personality and her larger than life attitude as well as her exceptional hairdressing skills.

Eleanor is our artistic colour specialist. She started her career in Cyprus in 2002. She has over 20 years of experience colouring hair and is one of only a small percentage of hairdressers in the country who has been trained to the highest level of colouring by gaining a prestigious degree in  L'Oréal Professional hair colour.

Eleanor specialises in highlights and colour changes and feels passionate about how she makes her clients feel when they leave the salon knowing they are happy and she has done a good job.

Modak on of our technical stylists and  is a cut & colour master with 10 years’ experience in the industry. Previously working in leadership positions (such as Salon Manager for renowned London Hairdressers) she obtained her diploma in Leadership and Management in the process, and has completed courses in colouring, cutting and mens hair to learn the latest techniques.

Modak loves creating the most beautiful colours, ranging from soft balayages, natural baby lites, bright highlights and customised fashion shades.

Specialising in men’s hair and long hair, Modak takes joy in providing a 5-star service for her clients and exceeding their expectations, always offering tips and tricks for achieving the salon look at home.

Ellie has been a colour specialist for over 25 years. Originally trained at Toni & Guy, she moved on to work with Aveda for 16 years, quickly progressing to an Aveda Salon Ambassador.

Ellie is most passionate about colour corrections and creative pastel tones, and with her extensive hairdressing history, it’s no surprise that she’s extremely talented at what she does! 

Ellie is also our keratin blow-dry queen, working exclusively with vegan friendly, keratin blow-dry brand, Aura.

Sebastian (despite his youthful good looks) has been working his creative magic in and around Berkshire for over 20 years. Specializing in cutting and styling, he has been involved in many hair competitions, catwalks and photoshoots over the years which have allowed him to truly express his artistic vision. Despite the excitement and freedom of creating cutting edge fashion forward styles on stage and screen, it is at Figoli where Sebastian is able to connect on a more personal level with his clients. Believing that communication and connection is key in guaranteeing the most positive of outcomes of a haircut, Sebastian always takes his time to discuss the needs and goals with everyone who takes a seat in his chair. 

From classic blunt bobs to long choppy locks with an undercut, he has done it all. Whether it is a trim or a total restyle Sebastian can be found at the salon Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays.

Helen has been cutting hair since 1990. Throughout her hairdressing career she has been salon manager for many different salons and has also owned her own salon. Helen is a qualified assessor and has won many different awards including 2019's L'Oréal colour trophy award. She is also currently studying her foundation certificate in trichology. Alongside all of this she is a free-lance self employed hairdresser and we are lucky enough to have her  base herself at Figoli. She is an exceptional hair dresser in both cutting and colouring.
