COVID-19



We’ve had to make a few changes in the way we work in order to protect both our staff and clients. Please read through these new procedures to ensure you are well prepared for visiting Figoli. 


The biggest challenge we are having to face is social distancing. Keeping 1m apart from your stylist isn’t possible, but please be assured we are following industry guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. The following safety measures have been put into place:


Bubbles

In order to social distance between other customers and other stylists, we have changed our working days to create two separate ‘bubbles’. This sort of change means that your usual stylist may not be working the same days as before. Please keep this in mind when booking your appointment.


Colours & blow-dries 

Your colour technician will need to be able to check your colour at the end of your service however, due to the new COVID-19 procedures, we are not currently able to offer the complimentary colour blow-dries. We ask that you choose one of two options: either a haircut or a paid blow dry at the end of a colour service. 


Waiting area 

Please arrive promptly for your appointments. The waiting area is not in use and we cannot accommodate anyone who may be early or accompanying you 


Patch tests & consultations 

All patch tests and consultations now need to be booked over the phone ahead of your appointment. We cannot offer colour services to new clients, or clients who haven’t had colour for over a year, without a patch test.


Product sales 

We encourage you to wait until you have your hair appointment to purchase Philip Martins products however if you simply cannot wait, we may need to serve you outside. Please be aware that our reception team is now off-site and due to separate bubbles, the teams are significantly smaller than before therefore there may be a wait if stylists are already busy with clients.


Walk-in appointments 

We cannot offer walk-in appointments at this time. All appointments must be booked over the phone 01344 627199


Masks

Please bring your own mask. If you do not have one we have them available for you to purchase at a small cost.


Travel light 

We are unable to store any personal items and we are also working in small spaces so please avoid bringing shopping bags or large items with you. You will be required to keep all belongings with you.


Coffee, cake & gin

We’re sorry – and extremely sad - that for the time being we won’t be able to offer tea, coffee, our famous Figoli cakes or gin. Magazines and books are also unavailable at this time.


PPE & sanitisation 

- stylists will be wearing full PPE

- all tools used will be disinfected using hospital grade sanitiser

- We have put measures in place to implement 2 meter social distancing for clients

- All clients will will be asked to sanitise their hands using antibacterial gel when they arrive and when they leave

- Each section will be cleaned and fully disinfected in-between each client visit


PLEASE NOTE: 

Please get in touch to reschedule your appointment if you are displaying any COVID symptoms - high fever, dry persistent cough, loss of sense of smell or taste. We cannot see you for your service if you are displaying any of these symptoms. 


We appreciate this is new to us all – please feel free to raise any concerns you might have at any point.
